The Blast Joint is a thick-walled tubular components normally utilized in completions.
The Blast Joint is placed in the tubing string adjacent to perforations. The thick walls of this tube resist the erosive blast of fluid from the formation, which often carries abrasive solid particles.
The Blast Joints have either API or Premium connection coupling OD and are available in 10, 20 and 30ft lengths.
