The Pump Out Ball Plug is designed to provides a bridge in the tubing to set a packer. The Pump Out Ball Plug is connected to the tubing end and run during completion without a ball. A ball is dropped to land at the Pump Out Ball Plug. Pressure is then applied to set the Packer. After the Packer is set, pressure is increased to shear the pins at the Pump Out Ball Plug. The plug seat are expanded, leaving a full tubing bore through the pumpout plug.
