The Expandable Fishing Tool Guide is designed and manufactured to customer dimensional specification. The external sleeve is manufactured to house the actual fishing tool i.e. Pulling Tool/Overshot and designed to No-Go in the Landing Nipple directly above the fish.
Operation:
When the tool reaches the appropriate nipple, downward jarring will shear the screws in the body releasing the fishing tool complete with guide. The flexible fingers expand to the tubing bore and continue downhole guiding the fishing tool over the fish. When pulling back out of te well, the expanded skirt will collapse when enterin the nipple and guide. The complete tool guide assembly is then retrieved to the surface.
