The Hydraulic Wireline Valve (BOP) is a hydraulic wireline valve; designed specifically to be used as a Single, Dual, Triple or Quad Ram; for Slickline and Braided Line operations. This allows the performance of work under pressure, on surface equipment, when the line is in the wellbore. The Hydraulic Wireline Valve is placed between the wellhead and lubricator assembly.
The Shear Ram Hydraulic Wireline Valve closure design consists of a hydraulic actuator assembly connected to the ram assemblies utilizing flange style connections. This permits hydraulic compression of the rams around the line from opposite sides.
The Shear Ram Hydraulic Wireline Valve can shear slickline to large diameter coiled tubing.
The Hydraulic Wireline Valve is available in nominal sizes from 2-1/2” to 9” with working pressure ratings from 5,000psi to 20,000psi, for standard and sour environments.
The Hydraulic Wireline Valve may be operated hydraulically with any source capable of providing required pressure. Manual override is available in case of hydraulic failure.
