The Surface Sand Control Filter (SSCF) is used between the wellhead and the choke during production or well testing. It protects the choke and downstream equipment from sand erosion.
The Surface Sand Control Filter is equipped with dual flow paths and 2 filter assemblies.
Production flow can be directed either flow path during cleaning of the sand filter. This is to minimize downtime during operation.
