The Half Moon Sheave is also known as Arch Sheave. The design is usually used for large sheave diameter application.
This Half Moon Sheave is used to run control line or encapsulated ESP cable/line. The sheave groove can be designed to match the line size.
This Half Moon Sheave used as a top block and can be secured by chain or rope as necessary.
Currently, the Half Moon Sheave available sizes range from 24” to 48” diameter.
