The Triangular Spreader Bar is designed and manufactured to reduce the bending stress impart from the larger wireline/cable to the Stuffing Box/Grease Injection Head. To achieve this, the hay pulley/top block is used and suspended by the triangular spreader bar (no sheave is required on the stuffing box/grease injection head).
In operation, the Triangular Spreader Bar is hoist by a crane, the lubricator clamp is attach to the left and right wing via slings for vertical load support. The sheave, however, is attach to the centre eye of the side arm (sheave hanger). The wireline or cable is then rig along the sheave wheel and into the stuffing box or the grease injection head.
